As part of the South Export Plan, supporting regions of Southern Italy, the ICE Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian companies is organizing a mission to Tel Aviv for companies involved in the Aerospace, Automotive, Life Sciences / Agritech and Cybersecurity sectors born in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily.
The choice of Israel is not accidental, given that the country invests significant amounts of its GDP in Research and Development, exceeding countries such as Sweden, Finland and Japan, with incentives that reach 5% of GDP for a total of more than 5 billion dollars .
The ecosystem in which local startups operate facilitates the possibilities of fund raising by local and foreign Venture Capital. The initiative is aimed at strengthening forms of commercial and technological collaboration with companies in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily with the aim of bringing together the parties, presenting the potential of the two areas and promoting the establishment of network for the implementation of joint projects and with possible follow-up in Italy.
The mission will take place from 3 to 5 March and will include visits to incubators, universities, venture capital, technology hubs.
